On November 1, the agreement between France and the United States, signed in Washington on 8 December last year, entered into force to establish a compensation fund for those Holocaust victims deported from France who had not been able to gain access to the French compensation program.
On December 8, 2014, France and the United States signed an agreement creating a compensation fund for certain Holocaust victims deported from France.
Jewish families who were deprived of their property due to antisemitic legislation during the Occupation in France can submit their requests to the « Commission for the Compensation of Victims of Spoliations » (CIVS) (...)
