  • Conferences@934: Public health in France and the USA

    France voted the Universal health care coverage in 1999. In the US, the Affordable Care Act, enacted under President Obama, is also an effort to expand access to health care. If both our countries expand the right to health, our health care systems are challenged by the recent economic and financial crisis. Dr Fahs and Fulillove will compare and contrast how government funding in each nation is impacting on matters of public health and access to medical care.
