Best of France in Times Square in September 2015
The third edition of BEST OF FRANCE (formerly Taste of France) took place in the heart of New York City, with hundreds of thousands of visitors.
The event—chaired by Paul Bensabat, President of the Foreign Trade Advisors of France in North America, and Ariane Daguin, CEO of d’Artagan—brought together major French associations and organizations in New York in order to promote the image of France abroad. Best of France was opened by the minister for Foreign Affairs Laurent Fabius.
The second day was marked by the visit of President François Hollande and Ségolène Royal, minister for Ecology and Sustainable Development.
The program included a local market, wine tasting, cooking classes, fashion shows, a hot-air balloon, autograph sessions, music from singer Dany Brillant and a performance by the world-famous cancan dancers from the Moulin Rouge.
