French American Aid for Children
The French American Aid for Children Foundation were received at the Consulate General of France in New York on Thursday December 1st, 2011 for a Christmas cocktail and an auction, the benefits of which will be entirely dedicated to actions of Childhood protection.
For more than 70 years, The French American Aid for Children finances projects in favor of unprivileged children on both sides of the Atlantic. In New York, the members’ donations allow many children from Harlem to go to summer camps every year during school vacation. In France, The French American Aid for Children encourages taking patronage over children of families who come from difficult backgrounds, and has, for example, funded the construction of a therapeutic pool at the Maternal Charity Society of Paris (la Société de Charité Maternelle de Paris).
