Good France/Goût de France at the Consulate

On Thursday March 19 2015, in 150 countries around the world, restaurants and embassies have offered 1500 dinners to celebrate France’s gastronomy by inviting the public to share a “French dinner”. In each participating restaurant, the event have paid tribute to a vibrant, open and innovative cuisine, while remaining true to its values of sharing, pleasure, respect for good food and for the planet.

In New York, 12 renown restaurants have participated in Good France.

At the Consulate General of France in New York, we have welcomed some of the most famous names of French gastronomy in New York: Dominique Ansel (Dominique Ansel Bakery), Frederick Bouisset (Lactalis), Daniel Boulud (Daniel), Jean-Luc Colombo (vins), Ariane Daguin (D’Artagnan), Elisabeth Holder Raberin (Ladurée), Jean Egasse et Yann Ledoux (Kayser), Sebastien Baud and Jacques Torres (Jacques Torres Chocolate). They have shared their passion for French cuisine during a reception hosted by chef Eric Ripert (Chef at “Le Bernadin”).
