Legion of Honor Award Ceremony for World War II Veterans

On Friday, November 6, twenty American veterans will receive the insignia of Chevalier in the National Order of the Legion of Honor, for their engagement during World War II.

In the presence of Mr. Richard Ortoli, Consular Advisor, and Mr. Jim Mullarkey, New York State Commander of the Catholic War Veterans, Mr. Bertrand Lortholary, Consul General of France, and Mr. Guy Wildenstein, President of the American Society of the French Legion of Honor, will bestow the insignia of Chevalier in the National Order of the Legion of Honor upon the American World War II veterans, during a ceremony held at the Lycée Français de New York.
