Long stay visa for Monaco

More than 90 days, valid for Monaco only
The visa is issued only after the authorization has been granted by the Monegasque Authorities. You will be informed of the decision by mail to the address on the application form, which must be within the jurisdiction of the Consulate.

2 Long Stay Application forms and 2 photographs
All forms must be completely and legibly filled in with black or blue ink, signed and dated. All photos must be recent, identical, passport size - 2" x 2" (4,5cm x 4,5cm) and showing the full face, the forehead hairline and ears on a white background ; pictures must be without glasses, no scarf, nor hat and no smile.

Passport or travel document (+ 1 copy of the identity page and the validity of the passport) valid for at least three months following the last day of your stay in France. The validity of your passport cannot exceed 10 years from the date of first issuance. Make sure the passport has at least two blank pages left for visa purpose. Only these pages can be endorsed with the visa. Amendment pages can in no way be used for visas. A long stay visa cannot be issued in a "Refugee Travel Document" or a "Re-entry Permit".
NOTE : Your passport will not be kept during the processing of your application.

A U.S.A. residency card (Green Card) or I-551 stamp, or a valid U.S.A. visa with I-94 and IAP66 or I-20 were applicable or an Advanced Parole. (+ 1 copy) Individuals with a B1/B2 visa may not apply for a Long Stay Visitor’s Visa.

Please submit the following in original with French translation and 2 sets of copies of each;

Attention the Visa Section does not make any copies. You must bring your documents and the required copies.

Any relevant documents related to your present occupation in the USA (+ 2 copies)
- paystubs for the last three months,
or
- letter from your employer stating that you are on leave of absence or taking a sabbatical.
If you are retired - social security payments, if you are self employed - business license.

An affidavit of non-bankruptcy. (+ 2 copies)

A recent Police record. (+ 2 copies)

Proof of ownership or a lease agreement in Monaco. (+ 2 copies)

Financial guarantee (+ 3 copies)
- letter from your bank stating that you have sufficient means to live in Monaco, with the bank balance,
or
- proof of retirement pension or proof of personal income,
or
- work contract certified by the labour Departement of Monaco.
