You could be the next Ambassador of French Culture
The organization One To World is looking for volunteers ready to share French culture with New York students through its Global Classroom: Passport to France program!
“Many pupils do not have the opportunity to see the world. We decided we will bring it to them.” This is how Deborah Clifford, One to World’s Executive Director, describes the Global Classroom program, which introduced France and French culture to over 600 pupils of New York public schools last year through fun, educational workshops. In each workshop, French volunteer speakers, or Global Guides, work with a Global Classroom educator to develop and lead their workshops on culture and global issues.
If you wish to become a Global Guide and share France with public school students, please contact Suzy Sorensen, Coordinator of Global Classroom, at firstname.lastname@example.org. This is a unique opportunity to share your culture and perspectives!
